Boys and girls

People always gave me a look of pity when they found out that I had three boys. They talked about how rambunctious they must be, how wild they could be. That was not my boys. They did have a bit of spunk to them but they in general were quite well behaved.

Lily has broken the mold. I would hear about how quiet and sedate girls were but Lily must have missed that lesson because she is not quiet nor is she sedate. I don't like having her on my lap for too long because it is not a matter of if you will get injured by her wild flailing but when. I have almost had my nose broken on more than one occasion. She still can't make it through Sacrament meeting at church. She has an intense need to move.

It will be interesting to see if the boys follow the sullen teenage male stereotype. Because of Lily's high activity level I will be thinking carefully about putting her in Kindergarten when she is 4 almost five (yay September birthday) or if I will wait another year.
